What might it take to actually empower districts and schools to do the challenging work of rethinking grading? Learn more in this video as we tackle this question through the Rethinking Grading Initiative, a two-year grant-funded project, designed and implemented by the Massachusetts Department of Education, Rennie Center For Education and Policy, and reDesign, between 2022 and 2024. Five high schools across the commonwealth were involved in the project, including urban, rural, and suburban schools, to encompass a broad range of context and demographics.
